The German fashion provider Marc O’Polo opens his first flagship store in Italy. The approximately 215 square meter store is located in Bolzano, South Tyrol, in the Palazzo Menz in Mustergasse 2 and includes women’s and men’s collections as well as shoes and accessories. The interior combines sustainable materials such as wood, terrazzo tiles and clay plaster walls with deliberately reduced aesthetics that highlight the historical ambience of the palace -like building.
The store in Italy should only be the beginning. “Italy is not just a country with an exceptional style and a deeply rooted fashion culture-for us it is also an important market on our way to a leading international lifestyle brand in the premium segment. The new store in Bolzano is an important first milestone in building a presence throughout Italy through its own stores, digital channels and strong partners: inside,” says Dirk Schneider, Chief Sales Officer at Marc O’Polo se.
At the same time, Marc O’Polo is expanding his presence in the Italian wholesale market. The brand is already represented at selected locations in department stores such as Rinascent and Coin with its own branded areas. The market entry is supplemented by the Italian online shop, which offers the entire Marc O’Polo range and is an important part of the omnichannel strategy.
Marc O’Polo SE, headquartered in Stephanskirchen, Germany, is represented in 46 countries via its own online shops, and in 60 countries with around 2,200 retail and franchise transactions as well as our own shops.
