“When employees, players or whoever exceed the limits, you have to be tough,” said Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag recently about the suspended Jadon Sancho. The 23-year-old winger is perhaps experiencing his most difficult time with the “Red Devils”, for whom things have never really gone well for him since his €85 million move from BVB in 2021. The England international should therefore be open to a change. Apparently the professional footballers’ union in England (PFA) now wants to mediate between Sancho and ten Hag.
Sancho had publicly accused Ten Hag of lying after he claimed that he had left the attacker out of the squad against Arsenal (1:3) due to poor training performance. The former Dortmund player avoided the requested apology, and the coach then suspended him. Since then, the professional has been training individually and is not allowed to use the first team’s rooms.

According to the newspaper, the PFA has “The Times“, contacted Sancho with the aim of bringing him and ten Hag back together. The Dutchman said last week that Sancho’s return to the squad would depend “on him”.
Sancho has contributed twelve goals and six assists in 82 competitive games for Man United since 2021. This season he was used as a joker three times until his suspension. Of its market value of 130 million euros in BVB’s prime, only just under a third remains (45 million).
