Without luck and in the end only one goal: BVB couldn’t take any points away from England in the premier class.
The English had played out a comfortable 3-0 with goals from Phil Foden (22nd/57th) and Erling Haaland (29th) before Dortmund came close again through Waldemar Anton (72nd). BVB then had further good moves from Karim Adeyemi (77′) and Carney Chukwuemeka (81′) – but in the end that wasn’t enough to pose a threat to City again. Rather, the home team put the lid on the game through Rayan Cherki (90th + 2).
