A resident of a house on the Akkerweg in Erp was attacked by several men last Saturday. He was threatened and then forced to drive to Uden. There the man was finally held all night, while robbers tried to take money off his account.
Last Saturday, the robbers rang around half past ten at the man’s house. When the resident opened, the robbers invaded his house. The man was threatened with a knife and had to hand over his things.
Then the robbers forced the man to drive to a location on the Bosdreef in Uden. Once there, the man was held all night, while the robbers tried to transfer money online from the man to himself.
Despite several attempts, the perpetrators could only transfer a small amount of money to themselves, thanks to the bank security.
At the end of the morning the robbers released the man again. They then fled. The victim was not injured. The police are still looking for the men and calls witnesses to report.
