Emergency services, including a trauma helicopter, were called out en masse for a person in the water around 7:15 pm.
The rescue brigade, the ambulance personnel and the trauma team immediately started CPR. A police spokeswoman said that unfortunately it no longer helped and that the man has died.
What exactly happened and how the swimmer got into trouble is not clear at the moment.
