A 59-year-old man was seriously injured on Tuesday evening around half past nine by a stabbing on Wilhelminastraat in his hometown of Andel. The victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
A 52-year-old suspect from Vught was arrested soon after the stabbing and taken by the police. The police have spaced the street where the stabbing took place.
It seems that the suspect and the victim are acquaintances of each other. The police are investigating what preceded the stabbing.
The victim was taken away with a stretcher and could just look through the bandage that was wrapped around his head.
