A 52-year-old man from Leek died on New Year’s Eve after being involved in a violent incident on the street.
The incident took place around 2:30 am on the Windsingel. Shortly afterwards the man went to his home. He died there.
The police are still investigating what exactly happened and who was involved. No suspects have been arrested yet.
