THETheir blog was born as a place for satire, irony and commentary on current affairs concerning women. It has become a project to support “normal” motherhood, that of Don’t make it as a lifestyle (the first book). But, also, in general, to women, the Angel of the hearth (the second book, presented at the Turin Book Fair), with the aim of dismantling, with irony, the stereotypes and deceptive promises associated with starting a family. Sarah Malnerich and Francesca Fiore, alias the duo of “bad influencers” soul of Shitmommyare back on tour all summer with with An execrable show in the sun. And, alongside their “usual” themes, staged with sarcasm and cheerfulness, we will also talk about social security.

Mammadimerda, the summer tour is underway
After the success of the spring tour, the social satire show will start again on Monday 5 June from Florence and will continue with 15 stops from north to south until the end of summer.
Sarah and Francesca will lead viewers into a reflection on the issues they (and all women) hold most dear, from the condition of women to the theme of the gender pay gap. But for the first time they will add a special sketch on the digital world, staging common situations that parents face with regards to social media. The goal is to invite parents to guide their children towards an aware use of the platforms.
The digital security sketch
«At what age can you register on Instagram, and how? Are there parental supervision tools on the activities of their teenagers? And how do they actually work? Is it possible to set time limits on the use of the platform? Or decide to take a break?”. Questions like these blend in the mind of every average parent, as in those of Sarah Malnerich and Francesca Fiore.
Mammadimeta, knowing social media to understand our children
«When we talked about it with Meta, we realized that there are so many things that we parents don’t know about this world», says the duo Mammadimerda. «Knowing social networks more closely is at the same time necessary to understand our children better, because that world that seems distant to us is instead an integral part of theirs. For this reason, in the sketch we try to teach the public what we have just learned. First of all, by answering these questions, which on Instagram find a concrete answer in real functions and tools. We do it in an ironic and fun way, but also simple and direct, through parallelisms and analogies with the situations we experience every day as mothers with our children».
Some tools exist: the sketch is in fact the result of a collaboration between Mammmadimerda and Meta entitled (centered) Metamama. This will also be shared with the public during the tour short guide to Instagramwith tools dedicated to parents and teenagers for safe and aware use of the platform.
Supervision, what can a parent do on Instagram to stay calm?
Adult and teenager can, for example, set supervision, thanks to which the parent can see how much time the child spends on Instagramset a time limit and scheduled breaks, receive notifications about reports the teenager wants to share and about accounts they decide to block, view account settings and be notified when they are changed.
