Magath has Corona, Fotheringham has his back – Hertha are running out of coaches!

The boss is in quarantine, the assistant is lying flat with severe back pain – Hertha started the training week without a rescue duo!

What happened?

Felix Magath (68) has been in his Corona suite since last week and followed the 3-0 win against Hoffenheim from there. Magic-Magath should be tested on Wednesday and be back on the pitch on Thursday.

Assistant Mark Fotheringham (38) represented his boss in last Saturday’s success with back problems. He still gave full power for 90 minutes, although the Scot couldn’t even bend down for the water bottle.

Once during the game he even asked the 4th official if he could pick up the bottle lying on the floor.

Nothing worked on Tuesday, the pain was too great – Fotheringham was missing.

Now striker coach Vedad Ibisevic (37) had to work. According to Magath’s instructions, he led the unit on Tuesday afternoon.

Hopefully Ibisevic stays healthy, because Hertha is slowly running out of trainers…
