Madonna live in Cologne: tickets, directions, support, setlist and weather

She is giving four concerts in Germany, the first two taking place on November 15th & 16th in Cologne.

Madonna has arrived in Germany. The first of two concerts will take place in Cologne’s Lanxess Arena on Wednesday, November 15th, with the second following on November 16th. A few days later, the “Queen Of Pop” plays two more shows in Berlin. Here you can find all the information about the Cologne dates and where tickets are still available.

Start times and support

Both shows are scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m., with admission starting at 6 p.m. At past concerts on “The Celebration” tour, Madonna’s support act started an average of three hours after doors opened. Bob The Drag Queen was announced as support and will open the evening. Madonna herself will then play a two-hour concert after her.

All visitors who plan to travel by train should note the current GDL strike by Deutsche Bahn. Strike action has been announced for the period from Wednesday evening, November 15th, up to and including Thursday, November 16th. This will result in massive disruptions to Deutsche Bahn’s long-distance, regional and S-Bahn traffic during this period. All information about this is read here.

If you want to combine a visit to the Madonna concert with a day in Cologne, you can also walk to the arena from Cologne Cathedral in about 25 to 30 minutes and even see the Rhine.

Weather

The weather in Cologne is currently mixed. No rain is expected for the evening of November 15th and low temperatures of up to 8 degrees are expected until the night of November 16th. On November 16th it will be cloudy during the day with up to 9 degrees. There may be rain showers in the afternoon and night of November 17th, so if you plan to take a walk through Cologne during the day before the concert or walk home in the evening, you should pack an umbrella as a precaution.
