I’m sorry, but I would rather meet Madonna than the President of the United States. Madonna has something that cannot be explained – what makes someone a star. When she comes into a room, she attracts everyone’s attention. She rests in itself, is not afraid to fully enjoy life and say what she thinks. It has something of childlike innocence and fascinates me again and again.
Madonna was the first female pop star to control his career completely independently and created his own image. It was completely the same for her whether she was criticized. She has proven that she can do so many different things – be music and films and mother.
Your songs are already classics. Pieces such as “Holiday” or “Live to Tell” are timeless, no disposable hits. Sometimes she is moody or esoteric, but what she says always makes sense. She is a diva and does what she wants, but she is also a very loving person.
Madonna’s stage presence has inspired so many singers, you can see their influence in women like Kelly Clarkson or Shakira
For the first time I met her in 2001 at one of her concerts. I came into the cloakroom, her daughter Lola was sitting there and I was really nervous. I said to Madonna: “Can I hug you?” And seemed totally stupid! But she was very nice. Without Madonna I would definitely not be here. I still know that when I was eight or nine, I ran around in the living room, singing and dancing, and I really wanted to be like her.
All of my friends still hear their things today. Madonna’s stage presence has inspired so many singers, you can see their influence in women like Kelly Clarkson or Shakirawho have taken over their moves.
