Lots of local support for the Dutch national team in Dallas: ‘1500 dollars paid to see the Dutch team’

At the kick-off of the 2026 World Cup in Dallas, there is not only around 5,000 Dutch supporters who have traveled from the Netherlands, but also a lot of local support for the Dutch national team. There was a lot of orange on the streets around the impressive AT&T stadium in Arlington, the Dallas suburb. Worn by local party tigers, but also by American soccer lovers and Americans with Dutch roots.
