Heavy rainfall hit the Northern Italian mountain village of Bardonecchia near Turin on Monday afternoon. The Frejus and Dora rivers have brutally left their banks, so that parts of the village have been flooded. Roads turned into rivers, bridges were closed and rescue services are still looking for a missing person who has been dragged by the mud flow. And as if that wasn’t enough, the bad weather also caused a landslide in nearby Sauze di Cesana.
