Top Oss carer Chris van der Veeken has been suspended for four games. Van der Veeken received a red card on Friday after the flame hit the pan during the Kitchen Champion Division match against FC Dordrecht.

The game was played in-house and would be lost 0-3 by the home team. Van der Veeken got angry after the 0-2, which followed after Oss claimed a penalty. The caregiver had to be stopped by Sjors Ultee, coach of Top Oss.

Caregiver Van der Veeken then received a red card. On Tuesday, the KNVB announced that he will also receive a suspension of four games. That is a punishment that is not often given, certainly not for caregivers.

‘Humanity’
Just before the competition, top Oss assistant Hans van de Haar was hit by a cerebral infarction. In a live show from YouTube platform FC Verkicking, head coach Ultee said Monday that he had hoped for more ‘humanity’ of the arbitration.

“We have considered a profession, but we have read on all sides that we have no chance,” said the head coach. “The arbitration probably felt threatened. You get to hear something like that.”
