“LOL” makers honor Nontschew for the finale: “Thank you, dear Mirco!”

In the last episode, the creators of the Amazon comedy “LOL – Last One Laughing” have set a small monument to the participant Mirco Nontschew, who died after the shooting.

At the very end of the season, a photo of the popular comedian was shown, with the words: “Thank you dear Mirco! You will always be in our hearts.” Since Thursday, users of the Prime Video streaming service have also been able to watch the last two of six episodes

Warning, spoilers! If you still want to be surprised: below the photo is who won.

The special thing about this season was that Nontschew was seen as a candidate. The episodes were taped before his death, which became known in December 2021. Nonchev died at the age of 52.

“I’m just glad we decided to show it like this,” Michael “Bully” Herbig told RTL a few days ago. “I think it would have been a very big mistake not to do it or to cut it out. He wouldn’t have wanted that either.”

The show, which also exists in other countries, is about this: a number of entertainers and comedians try to make each other laugh in a studio for several hours. The one who doesn’t laugh wins.

In the end, Anke Engelke emerged as the “LOL” winner.

In addition to Nontschew, who was on the show for the second time, these celebrities took part: Palina Rojinski, Hazel Brugger, Michelle Hunziker, Christoph Maria Herbst, Abdelkarim, Axel Stein and Olaf Schubert. Anke Engelke took up the challenge for the third time, Carolin Kebekus for the second time.

In the end Engelke and Abdelkarim remained. For example, the entertainer tried to make her opponent laugh with a roller skating performance. Actor and director Herbig (“Bullyparade”, “Der Schuh des Manitou”), who followed the events as the superordinate director and then caught people laughing, finally sent comedian Max Giermann to the two. Among other things, the comedian imitated Stefan Raab and then brought his classic – a freaking out Klaus Kinski. In the end, Anke Engelke won. Torsten Sträter won season one, and Max Giermann won the second round.
