Johann Zarco takes pole with a course record
Johann Zarco goes from pole into the first race after the break. The Pramac Ducati rider set the new course record in Q2 with a time of 1:57.767 minutes and beat Maverick Viñales and Jack Miller in the battle for pole position. World Champion Fabio Quartararo finished fourth in qualifying ahead of Francesco Bagnaia.

This weekend, MotoGP is a guest at Silverstone. The Mecca for all motorsport fans. The first Grand Prix was held at Silverstone in 1977. 1987 saw the move to Donington Park before MotoGP returned to Silverstone in 2010. At 5.901 kilometers, the track is one of the longest on the series calendar.
