3. Newcomer confirmed
Isco has found a new challenge after his contract with Real Madrid ended. The 30-year-old attacking midfielder has reached an agreement in principle with FC Sevilla, the Spanish first division club announced on Sunday. Accordingly, Isco has already arrived in Seville to undergo the medical check on Monday. After that – “if everything goes well” – the experienced player should sign a contract until 2024, which would make him the third newcomer to the “Blanquirrojos” after Marcão (26) and Alex Telles (29).
Isco has made 352 competitive appearances for Real since arriving in 2013, scoring 53 goals and providing 56 assists. The time at the club “which enabled me to fulfill all the dreams I had as a child” is now coming to an end, Isco wrote on Instagram at the end of May. Even in the difficult times, he was always sure of the support of the club and fans. In 2018 Isco held the highest market value of his career with 90 million euros.
