Hertha is currently in twelfth place, but could jump into the top half of the table with three points. Captain Toni Leistner and Marc Oliver Kempf are available to coach Pal Dardai again after their suspensions in defense.

Hertha and Karlsruhe have had a decades-long fan friendship. 60,000 tickets have been sold. Both fan camps celebrate in the exhibition halls and go to the stadium together. Dardai is looking forward to the atmosphere, but also emphasized: “There will be no friendly games in this stadium for ninety minutes.”
