The route

The 4.574 kilometer long Hockenheimring is considered one of the historic sites of the DTM. Since its introduction in 1984, more DTM races have been held here than any other track. Hockenheim can proudly look back on 21 season opening races and an impressive 28 DTM season finales during this time.

Manthey-Porsche is team champion

Manthey-Porsche was already able to secure the DTM team title yesterday. After Preining and Dennis Olsen took the first two places yesterday, the team can no longer be caught on the final day and can immediately celebrate in the first DTM season.

09:06

Preining has his hand on the trophy

Thomas Preining had a perfect day with pole and race victory yesterday and had a hand on the championship trophy on the final day. His lead over Mirko Bortolotti is 27 points and only 28 points are still up for grabs today. So it could well be that we already know after qualifying who will be champion today. If Bortolotti cannot catch up with Preining by at least two points in qualifying, the title fight will already be decided in the morning.
