Rangers were undefeated this season. After four wins and a draw, head coach Van Bronckhorst’s team suffered their first defeat of the season in a city duel against Celtic Glasgow. In the end, the Rangers lost 4-0. The Gers are five points behind city rivals Celtic and second in the Scottish league on 13 points. The “Light Blues” qualified for the Champions League through the third qualifying round. There, the Scots first won against the Royale Union Saint-Gilloise 3-0, in the play-off games the Rangers then defeated PSV Eindhoven 3-2 on aggregate.
