LIVE NH Sport with Young PSV – Telstar and Young AZ – NAC Breda

Once again Telstar will take on a U23 team in the first division. Tonight the team of trainer Mike Snoei will play against Jong PSV in Eindhoven. The young AZ promise team receives NAC Breda.

Both matches, which start at 8 p.m., can be followed live on the radio at NH Sport. Of course we will also keep you informed of the standings on the other fields. Among others at Jong Ajax – Helmond Sport.

No Old Kotte and Blommestijn

Telstar trainer Mike Snoei misses a number of important strengths against Jong PSV. Anwar Bensabouh has been out of circulation for a while and this week Thomas Oude Kotte and Koen Blommestijn joined. The attacker hired from FC Volendam is struggling with an injury to the instep, making him unusable. Against Young FC Utrecht (2-2) he started on the couch for that reason. Oude Kotte, a mainstay in the defense, suffered an ankle injury during training, which means that he will probably not be able to play for a few weeks.

Young PSV has been having a mixed season so far. Teams such as Willem II, VVV-Venlo and Roda JC yielded points against the Eindhoven team, but against TOP Oss the promises themselves went away with 0-3. If Telstar, which is fourteenth, wins against Jong PSV, both teams will be equal in points (twelve points).

Incidentally, Telstar took three points on the bus for the first time last season. It was then 2-3. The eight games before that were not won (six losses, two draws). The match commentary from the PSV Campus De Herdgang comes from Frank van der Meijden.

Young AZ – NAC Breda

The second game that you can follow live on NH Radio tonight will be played in Wijdewormer. Young AZ receives NAC Breda from Volendammer Alex Plat and former FC Volendam coach Robert Molenaar. Both teams are close to each other in the rankings. NAC is eighth with fourteen points and Jong AZ ninth with one point less.

After the draw against ADO The Hague (2-2) and the successive defeats against PEC Zwolle (2-3), William II (1-0) and The County (2-0) the team of trainer Maarten Martens has fallen to the middle bracket. The statistics give little hope that the fall of Jong AZ will stop tonight. NAC won all six matches that both teams played against each other. You can hear from reporter Erik-Jan Brinkman how tonight’s game is going.

NH Sport will be there tonight from 7pm to 10pm. Presentation: Edward Dekker.
