13:00 – Four arrests around trucker protest in The Hague
Four people were arrested on Saturday around the trucker demonstration of Freedom Convoy Netherlands in The Hague. Two people were arrested for insulting, two others for public assault. On Sunday morning, one of the four was still in custody, a police spokesman said.

Due to the action on Saturday, traffic in part of the center was closed. The Convoy demonstrators held the protest because they say they want to get rid of Rutte’s “demolition policy” and “all measures that have been introduced in the past two years”, such as the mouth cap obligation.

11:30 am – Fine for Amsterdam nightclubs that opened doors
During the protest action De Nacht op op 25 Amsterdam nightclubs were found to be illegally open. According to a spokesperson for the municipality, at least 24 clubs can expect a fine of 4500 euros.

The participants walk a protest march that starts and ends on the Malieveld. Along the way they pass the Hofvijver near the Binnenhof. The organization says it is counting on 25,000 participants. The demonstration starts at 1:00 PM and lasts until approximately 4:00 PM. There will be performances and speakers, including the foreman of the Netherlands in Resistance, Michel Reijinga.

10:00 am – Young people ‘celebrate’ protest party in Maastricht
