Botic van de Zandschulp from Amstelveen has reached the main tournament of Paris-Bercy. The world number 65 was too strong for the Austrian Sebastian Ofner, the world number 44, in the second and final qualifying round 7-6 (7) 6-2.
The 28-year-old Van de Zandschulp said goodbye to coach Sven Groeneveld a week ago. He will be coached by Ronald Hooijer during the last tournaments of the season.
Tallon Greekpoor from Nieuw-Vennep has been admitted directly to the main tournament. The best tennis player in the Netherlands will compete against American Christopher Eubanks in the opening round.
