The Enzo and Dino Ferrari racetrack is renewed as an irreplaceable stage of the Civ. The agreement between Fmi and the Imola circuit has been extended, where the best drivers in Italy will race
On the occasion of the stage of the Italian Speed Championship at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari racetrack, the Italian Motorcycle Federation and the Santerno circuit extended the agreements with the Civ until 2029. Imola, the temple of speed and Italian and international motorsport, will host the riders of the top Italian motorcycling championship and will therefore compete for another three years on the Imola curves, continuing to “Enhance Italian motorcycling and offer riders, teams and enthusiasts a stage worthy of the prestige and tradition of this championship” as declared by Pietro Benvenuti, general director of the circuit. “Imola is one of the circuits where you can feel the historical charm of motors the most – remarked with satisfaction Giovanni Copioli, Fmi president – but above all that of motorcycling, because the circuit on the banks of the Santerno has a history where motorbikes have always been the protagonists. It is nice to be able to say that all this continues”.

A union, between Civ and Imola, which will therefore last for 18 consecutive yearsafter the circuit’s reintroduction into the championship calendar in 2012. The Romagna racetrack, which has often been the scene of the final phase of the seasons, continues a tradition that was missing from the calendar from 2007 to 2011. In 2026, Imola is hosting the drivers in the third phase of the championship, which is taking place on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th June. The season is therefore at the halfway point, with three other stages that will follow after the first weekend of June. Following a month and a half stop, the Civ will restart in Misano from 24 to 25 July. It will follow then Cremona on the weekend of September 19-20, after which the curtain will close on Vallelunga in that of 10-11 October.
