“Let Hoogeveen end up in the left list in terms of turnout figures. I hope that many people will vote,” says mayor Martijn Breukelman of the municipality of Hoogeveen. In 2023, during the last House of Representatives elections, the turnout percentage was 78.6 percent. That was slightly higher than the national turnout percentage.
