At the end of the afternoon, the AEX has just managed to squeeze out a final sprout, so that the Amsterdam main index ended almost exactly at the same point as yesterday and 0.02 points higher at 913.97. Wall Street closed considerably on Tuesday after two consecutive days of winning. The Nasdaq fell 1.7% and the S&P 500 1.1% in the run -up to the Fed interest rate decision that will come out tomorrow.
