The AEX raced this afternoon at record levels above 950 points, but is again around the final score of yesterday 45 minutes before closing. The enthusiasm on Wall Street is also somewhat tempered, so there is a mixed image of small pluses and minuses in the important American stock market indices. In the main funds in the Netherlands, the bank shares ING and ABN AMRO are doing well thanks to the recent rise in bonds.
