Linde pays dividend for the third quarter

Industrial gases group Linde plc (ISIN: IE00BZ12WP82) announced a dividend of $1.17 for the third quarter at its annual general meeting in London on Monday. Payment will be made on September 16, 2022 (Record day: September 2, 2022).

Extrapolated for the year, Linde is currently distributing USD 4.68 (approx. EUR 4.58) as a dividend (in the form of four quarterly payments) to investors.

The current dividend yield is around 1.64 percent at the current stock exchange price of EUR 279.85. In March 2022, the group announced a 10 percent increase in the dividend to the current amount.

In the first quarter (March 31) of the 2022 financial year, Linde generated sales of USD 8.21 billion (previous year: USD 7.24 billion), as reported on May 28, 2022. Revenue was $1.17 billion (prior year: $980 million). The figures for the second quarter will be published on July 28, 2022.

Linde is the world’s largest industrial gases group. Today’s company was formed in 2018 from the German Linde AG and the American Praxair. The company is based in Dublin and has its operational headquarters in Guildford, UK. The company is also listed in the DAX.
