For a long time, Hannover 96 had to be worn out for the license. Now the Lower Saxony at least submit the documents as required.
Hannover 96 has submitted his licensing documents for the coming season 2025/26 on time with the German Football League (DFL). This was announced by the second division team after there had previously been considerable internal conflicts.
A lengthy conflict within the association was preceded by the deadline. The focus was on the appointment of a new managing director who had led to a dispute between the capital side around the long -time managing director Martin Kind and the representatives of Hannover 96 EV.
Only on Sunday and thus one day before the end of the licensing period, Hannover 96 presented two new managing directors with Marcus Mann and Henning Bindzus. Both signed the documents on Monday. Without the signature of a managing director, the Lower Saxony would have threatened the withdrawal of the game permit for the coming season. The documents are checked by the DFL in the coming weeks.
