Bergs and Diallo also continued to serve well in the second set. So there was a tiebreak, in which Bergs got two set points, one of which is on his own service, but he didn’t finish it. Diallo did that a little later.
Taylor Fritz keeps Alexander Zverev in Stuttgart from Title
Alexander Zverev did not succeed in winning the Stuttgart tennis tournament. The first placed German had to recognize his superior in two sets in the American Taylor Fritz, who was classified as number 2. It became 6-3, 7-6 (0). The party stopped for some time due to rain.
It was the first time that Zverev was in the final in Stuttgart. A week and a half ago, the Olympic champion of Tokyo stranded in the quarterfinals of Roland Garros against the Serbian Novak Djokovic. Zverev has never won an ATP tournament that was played on grass.
