THEn a week full of institutional commitments, including the eagerly awaited ceremony for the Golden Fleece for Queen Sofia, Letizia of Spain find the time to teach a new style lesson. And this time, there is only one rule: dare with contrasts. On the occasion of 40th anniversary of the CEOE Foundation at the Royal Theater of Madridthe sovereign has abandoned the classic suits for an outfit that mixes expertly rock grit and bon ton elegance. A subtle balance, which demonstrates how a bold garment like leather can be incredibly refined if combined in the right way.
Letizia of Spain’s “bow and leather” look
The focal point of the outfit is undoubtedly the Black leather midi skirt. It’s about the model Leshina Of Hugo Bossa pencil skirt with a belt at the waist that Letizia had already shown off in 2022 and 2023, confirming her ability to rewear intelligent. But it’s the combination that makes the difference.
To “play down” the aggressiveness of the skin, the queen chose one hyper-feminine gray blousealso signed Hugo Boss (new, but from a past collection). The winning detail? The slightly puffed sleeves and, above all, the maxi bow at the neck (or pussy bow), which adds a vintage and romantic touch to the whole. The contrast between the semi-transparent fabric of the blouse and the bold texture of the leather creates a perfect visual mix, modern and sophisticated.

Comfortable shoes for a long day
If the dress plays with textures, the accessories focus entirely on chic comfort. Letizia of Spain debuted with a new pair of Tod’s designer shoes: a black model with metallic detail and, a detail not to be underestimated, a block heel. A stylistic choice that combines formal elegance with practicality, ideal for long days of representation.
To complete the look, the bag Victoria Insignia Of Carolina Herrera (one of his favourites) and a black coat from the same brand, worn casually over his shoulders to protect himself from the Madrid cold. The jewels are inevitable: Coreterno’s faithful ring and a couple of golden circles bright.
Letizia di Spagna beauty look: brick makeup and autumnal vibes
The beauty look did not go unnoticed, designed to harmonize with the tones of the outfit. Letizia Ortiz opted for warm make-upperfect for the season, focusing on lips and cheeks in brick tones. This earthy nuance, softer than classic red but more decisive than nude, warms the complexion and recalls autumnal shades, creating an ideal common thread with the seriousness of the black leather and the pearl gray of the shirt. An inspiration to copy immediately for this season’s office looks (and beyond).
