Leopard pattern on the Linna julpa dress

When looking at the party dress of the Green MP Jenni Pitko, you have to rub your eyes twice.

The most observant could notice that the suit’s pattern is not actually a leopard print. On closer inspection, the patterns look like a woman’s face.

It is a dress from the Yo Zen design brand from Oulu. The pattern in question is called Heroine. Pitko says on his Instagram account that the outfit has a message.

– My outfit contains an important message about a common Finland, where people trust themselves and each other and thus build an even stronger society together, Pitko writes.

In addition to the pitko, other costumes with a message in the background were seen at Linna’s party this year. The theme of recycling rose above the others and it was visible in the materials.

The pink pattern was originally designed for Pitko’s costume in 2020, but due to the pandemic, the pattern was put into production for the whole nation before its first appearance at Linna’s party. They designed the dress Paula Kouri and Kate Salminen. The dress seen on top of the skirt is unique, and the model in question is not sold by the brand.
