Jane Goodall’s struggle for environmental and animal protection

The animal welfare and environmental activist traveled to today’s Tanzania for the first time at the age of 26. There she ventured into the world of wild chimpanzees, which was still little known until then. This trip was the beginning of a more than 60-year revolutionary work in a previously male-dominated industry. Until the end, Jane Goodall’s goal was to protect chimpanzees from extinction. Deadline reports that she redefined species protection in order to take into account the needs of the local population and the environment.

DiCaprios & Goodalls joint project
