LeBron James’ son impresses in Team USA

Basketball talent Bronny James was instrumental in Team USA’s victory at the 2023 Nike Hoop Summit.

At the show event in Portland/USA, the eldest son of basketball legend LeBron James scored eleven points, four assists and one rebound, steal and block against “Team World”.

Watched by his father, he scored seven of his points in the final quarter to help the US team win 90-84.

The game was “a great experience” for Bronny, whose full name is LeBron Raymone James Jr. The Hoop Summit is an annual event that pits US talent under the age of 19 against a world selection of talent.

The match is seen as a showcase for the youngsters in front of scouts from NBA teams and colleges. German basketball idol Dirk Nowitzki is also one of the many superstars who excelled at the match, he was there in 1998.

James, who is 1.91 meters tall, has already received a number of offers from highly decorated universities, but has not yet decided on any. The 18-year-old Guard is a senior at Sierra Canyon High School in Los Angeles.

James was voted an All-American after his senior season in high school and had competed in the All-American Game in late March. There he got 15 points twenty years after his father.
