These are his words: “Meanwhile, I thank everyone for the presence, demonstrating a great sense of very rare belonging. This is a large family, I have entered it operational having already been Lazio. I have always lived it with passion, with trepidation. Because it has always cultivated an aspect that, permitted, the other companies do not have: the valiant aspect.
Not surprisingly, when this partnership was founded, it was done on the Olympic values. At the time of the Olympics the wars stopped, because sport was above everything: of politics, of the economic interest. Trying to best represent these aspects: sacrifice, merit, inclusion, civic participation in the problems of the society in which we live. Through a series of initiatives resulting from sacrifice, especially of families, who preserved Lazio, the largest polysporty in Europe. Today, with pride, we can also claim a force in the contractual power of this partnership, we have always supported these colors thanks to the force of the Union.
We have the opportunity to become protagonists, points of reference through a series of initiatives that we are piercing that will represent the pride of being Lazio. I refer to the hypothesis of the Flaminio stadium. We want to have our home, a historic house! Precisely because we want to cultivate the interest of families, we are building the Academy in Formello: we want to train, in addition to the body and the mind, also the spirit. A Christian spirit, of welcome. We have a concrete testimony of Flavio and Francesco’s parents, they remained in our hearts.
They were a point of reference to make people understand that Lazio is there and supports their fans with strength and determination. We want to make these colors bring important trophies, we fight daily to do it. We are the only team that has two ‘gold collars’. We were also elected as ‘moral body’ as he gave the fields to establish war gardens and allow people to feed. I had the opportunity to designate my wife as president of the Foundation and I am seeing many initiatives, which in the past I did not know, represent the pride of our Polisportiva and bring a smile to the people who have been in difficulty during the day. Having in certain situations the possibility, the certainty of having a big family like Lazio, who intervenes in times of difficulty, with the spirit of service.
A service that belongs to both the Lazio family and to all civil society, we claim this with pride. I believe that this initiative, such as that of the itinerant museum, which I hope in a short time if I will be built the stadium – because it is convinced that the Flaminio stadium will be made, if it depends on Lazio – it becomes stable to have the pride of saying this is our home.
