On Monday, Portland Trail Blazers went to find a two -point win in Utah.

Local Jazz has been able to win only 14 struggles this season from a total of 57 and is firmly jumbo of the Western Conference.

Only the Washington Wizards (10 wins) throughout the league has played more miserable.

One explanation for jazz difficulties is Lauri Markkanen’s condition. The Finn did not play at all in the Portland defeat, and In total, Vieliäinen’s back pain has kept Jyväskylä left over as many as 14 league matches.

However, there is a freak in the statistics that Jazz has scored more points (114.1) in the absence of Markkanen than the Finns on the parquet (on average 111.9).

In any case, Markkanen’s most difficult jazz season is like a fist on the face of Jazz. The club leadership “refuels” this season, that is, trying to lose the best possible booking, so that in the future, the club will rise again to fight for the NBA championship.

It may take so many years, though, Markkanen will no longer be affected by Salt Lake City.

The club advanced twice to the NBA Finals (1997 and 1998), led by John Stockton and Karl Malonen, but collided with Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls.

Weaker

Despite his back pain, Markkanen has been the best scorer in the jazz. He has knocked an average of 19.3 points per match. However, the reading is clearly lower than in the previous two jazz seasons (23.2 and 25.6).

But we do not know if the Finnish power has fallen or is it just about the eye-of-the-eye of the jazz lead.

It would be nasty to suggest that back pain would not always prevent a Finn from playing. In any case, it is clear that it is in the interests of jazz that its best player will not enter the field.

The truth is certainly somewhere in the middle.

Markkanen has clearly had trouble getting his three -point throws (34.7 percentage of success), but head coach Will Hardy also wants the team to apply for John Collins, Coll’s sexton and Jordan Clarkson.

This improves their personal statistics and the players’ resale value increases.

For Markkanen, the season 2024-25 is mentally difficult because he is not allowed to show all his skills.

The Finnish giant is definitely waiting for the beginning of next season. Jazz does not fight for the championship even then, but at least the ban on the transfer of jazz has already ended.
