Sports journalist Laura Arffman reports Ilta-Sanom in an interview with his ex-husband, cross-country skier Anssi Pentsiseen. Arffman and Pentsinen separated at the beginning of the year.
Arffman tells the magazine that his ex-spouse’s desire to divorce came as a shock to him.
– If I say it directly, we are not in a relationship, Arffman says now.
– Of course, we take care of the children’s affairs properly, but otherwise we are not in contact, he continues.
Arffman says that drawing boundaries has been necessary.
– I don’t want to give my energy to it at all. The matter will certainly change in the future, but now the situation is this, Arffman tells Ilta-Sanom.
Arffman commented on his resignation in March to Iltalehti.
– A very big shock. I wouldn’t have wanted this. I would have been willing to do anything to preserve my family, Arffman stated.
The relationship had not been on track for the past few months.
– I’ve had a really bad time at the beginning of the year, Arffman said.
Arffman and Pentsinen got married in 2017. The ex-couple have two children together.
