Clearly there is no age on class. Cristiano Ronaldo is now 38, but he has not forgotten how to score. Last week he did it for Portugal against Liechtenstein, and on Friday evening he continued that line with his Saudi employer Al-Nassr. Victim on duty? Al-Akhdoud, number sixteen in the Saudi Pro League.
Ronaldo had to wait a long time until his moment came. Just under fifteen minutes before the end, he doubled the lead for the home team. A nice goal, but nothing compared to what would follow a handful of minutes later.

Because then Ronaldo really made jaws drop. Al-Akhdoud goalkeeper Paulo Vítor had gone far to stop a dangerous attack, but he unintentionally put the ball at Ronaldo’s feet. He was still about 25 meters from the opponent’s goal, but pulled off a great lob. The ball dropped just in time and fell perfectly into the goal. Fantastic goal, which Ronaldo was clearly very happy with. The Saudi commentator on duty also let himself go completely.
For CR7 it was his 15th league goal in 13 games. With this he leads Al-Nassr to second place for the time being, one point behind leader Al-Hilal.
