The judicial panorama of Elián “L-Gante” Valenzuela it gets dark again. Almost a year and a half after his arrest in Moreno, the singer faces a new accusation: human trafficking for sexual and labor exploitationwithin the framework of case No. 32370/2024, filed in the Federal Criminal and Correctional Court No. 1 of Morón, in charge of Judge Martín Alejandro Ramos. The accusation, promoted by federal prosecutor Sebastián Basso, once again puts the musician in the eye of the judicial storm.

The complaint, filed forty days ago by a foundation that works to recover victims of trafficking, began its course in the PROTEX (Office of Human Trafficking and Kidnappings for Extortion). As detailed in the case, the preliminary investigation, headed by prosecutors Marcelo Colombo and María Alejandra Manganoprovided sufficient elements to redirect the case to the federal prosecutor’s office in Morón.

The origin of this accusation dates back to June 6, 2023, when the Moreno DDI and the General Rodríguez prosecutor’s office, under the leadership of prosecutor Leandro Ventricellithey carried out a raid on the singer’s home in Moreno. According to the complaint, during the operation records were forged, key evidence was hidden and false documentation was presented to conceal that two minors, identified as MJM and MCMwere in the musician’s room at the time of the intervention.

L-Ghent it was recently sentenced by the Federal Criminal Court No. 3 to three years of suspended prison for the crimes of coercive threats and damages. This background further aggravates their legal situation, added to the fear of reprisals that the complainants have expressed due to the alleged intimidating practices of their environment, known as “La Mafilia.”

Jorge Zonzini, media manager appointed by the complainants, emphasized the irregularities of the June 2023 operation, pointing out that collusion between police and judicial employees could lead to the nullity of that procedure. Among the evidence that could have been hidden is a weapon that was never found, key in a previous case for unlawful deprivation of liberty that allowed the singer to avoid a greater sentence and actual prison.+
