The design of two Brussels architects made it from almost sixty other designs. The building from the sixties no longer meets contemporary standards. The structure of the building is retained, but there are almost energy -neutral residential units. In 2029 the first residents will move in, cost price of the project: around eight million euros. Maxime Czvek, Czvek Rigby: “We have actually chosen to split the existing building and make two addresses here on the square, two building volumes where all apartments get more living qualities. For example, they all get a corner house, a corner apartment with a lot of sunlight. And there will be a new entrance centrally, as a paving -lodges.”
