The Kortrijk schools, CLBs and the City of Kortrijk are joining forces to reduce school dropouts and exclusions. The number of permanent exclusions tripled in four years, and according to the city, this mainly shows that schools are increasingly confronted with complex situations. The new charter should provide earlier guidance, clearer rules of life and stronger cooperation between school teams, families and care providers.
