Koog Zaandijk was the only team still undefeated after four rounds and was therefore first in the rankings prior to the match against DVO. In the Topsportcentrum in Koog aan de Zaan it soon became clear that the visitors from Gelderland, who were second in the rankings, wanted to change KZ’s undefeated status.
The formation of coach Tim Bakker was very strong in defense, especially in the first half, but in attacking terms it was still uncertain with some regularity. Nevertheless, both teams were extremely evenly matched and the score was 9-9 halfway through.
