Tom Kingsbury is the new CEO at Kohl’s.
Previously active as interim CEO at the US retailer, Kingsbury’s board of directors has appointed him as the new chief executive officer (CEO) effective February 2, Kohl’s Corporation announced on Thursday. As interim CEO, he has been in charge of the company since the beginning of December.
“Tom’s exceptional track record of growing retail businesses and his in-depth knowledge of Kohl’s make him the right choice for Kohl’s next CEO,” said Peter Boneparth, Kohl’s Board Chair.
Kingsbury has over 40 years of retail industry experience and has held senior positions at US retailers Burlington Stores and The May Department Stores Company.
