KNVB blocks resold tickets for the Netherlands – France in Johan Cruijff Arena

Football association KNVB has blocked 450 tickets for Friday’s sold-out European Championship qualifying match between the Dutch national team and France. “These are tickets that the KNVB is certain will be resold through unofficial sales channels,” the association reports. These are tickets that have ended up with other owners via companies such as Viagogo and Me Gusta Tickets.

The KNVB advises Dutch fans to only buy tickets through the official sales channels. “If you obtained your tickets through another channel, you run the risk of paying too much and having the tickets blocked, preventing you from entering the stadium. If this is the case and there are still tickets available, you can buy new tickets at the normal rate. You must always reclaim the money you paid for the blocked tickets from the organization where you bought the tickets,” the KNVB advises.

The European Championship qualifying match between the Netherlands and France will be played on Friday at 8:45 PM in the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam.
