Second foreign station
Markus Gisdol has found a new club around a year and a half after leaving Lokomotiv Moscow. The 54-year-old is starting his second stint abroad with Samsunspor in Turkey. Gisdol signed a contract until the end of the season and succeeds Hüseyin Eroglu, who was released at the end of September.
Gisdol, who was on the sidelines for Hoffenheim, HSV and Cologne in the Bundesliga, is supposed to lead promoted team Samsunspor to stay in the league. After seven games, the second division champions are at the bottom of the Süper Lig table with just one point.
