On Thursday (January 25th) Kings Of Leon performed live in León, Mexico. There was an announcement from the band: New music is coming “very soon,” as Caleb Followill told the audience. There is also already a song or album title: “The Mustang”.
The performance was her first of 2024. So at the end of the gig, on stage at the Velaria De La Feria in León, Mexico, Followill announced that new music was on the way. “Very soon, so get ready for ‘The Mustang.’ He also added: “It’s not that song that’s coming now,” before singing their – of course, unmistakable – 2008 hit “Sex On Fire”.

It’s currently unclear whether “The Mustang” will be the title of a new song, an upcoming record, or something else. Kings of Leon also did not announce an exact release date. If you want to see them live in 2024, you can go to the Deichbrand Festival from October 18th to 21st. July the opportunity to do so.
The latest Kings Of Leon album, “When You See Yourself”, was released in 2021. It is the band’s eighth studio LP.
