King Charles was seen in public for the first time since his cancer diagnosis

King Charles smiled and waved to those present.

King Charles, 75, was seen for the first time in an official role since his cancer diagnosis. The court announced that the king had cancer on Monday, February 5.

The king was represented together by his wife the queen Camilla’s, 76, with at Sandringham Parish in Norfolk on Sunday morning, February 11. The couple attended a service at St. Mary Magdalene Church.

The king waved to the paparazzi present as they walked towards the church. Sky News – magazine, the king seemed to be in a good mood and smiled at those present. The vicar shook hands with the royal couple in front of the church Paul Williams before they all stepped inside.

Charles was wearing a brown long coat, dark blue pants and matching shoes. Camilla’s outfit included, among other things, a light jacket, black pants and a hat of the same color.

The royal couple made a public appearance together just a day after Charles publicly commented on his cancer diagnosis for the first time. He wanted to express his gratitude for the messages of support he received.

“It is equally encouraging to hear how sharing my own diagnosis has helped to promote public understanding and highlight the work of all the organizations that support cancer patients and their families across the UK and around the world,” Charles wrote in the court’s statement.

The King also emphasized how he admires the work of medical professionals and cancer organizations.

– My lifelong admiration for their tireless care and dedication is even greater because of my personal experience, he added.

Charles and Hovi have not revealed what cancer the king is suffering from.
