In the race held over 78 laps at Monaco’s 3.3-kilometer Monte Carlo Circuit, the Italian pilot left his rivals behind with a time of 2 hours, 23 minutes and 31.243 seconds, and achieved his fifth consecutive victory this season.


19-year-old Antonelli made history as the youngest pilot to win the Monaco Grand Prix.


Great Britain’s Lewis Hamilton from the Ferrari team took second place, 6.271 seconds behind the leader, and Red Bull’s French pilot Isack Hadjar took third place, 23.394 seconds behind the leader.
