Noa Argamani, then 25, was taken hostage by Hamas on October 7, 2023 at the Nova music festival. The images of how she was taken away on a motorcycle then went around the world. Her boyfriend Avinatan Or was also taken hostage that day. She was liberated by the Israeli forces in June 2024. After Avinatan’s release they were reunited.
