After a pancreatitis, coach Christian Neidhart from the Kickers returns to the training ground. But then there is an emergency.

A medical incident overshadowed the training from the regional league team Kickers Offenbach on Tuesday. According to media reports, head coach Christian Neidhart was affected. As the “Bild” newspaper reports, the 56-year-old collapsed during the unit.

Neidhart will “not take part in training until further notice,” said Offenbach when asked by the German Press Agency (dpa). Further information on the situation failed to do. It is unclear why the emergency came about and how Neidhart is doing.

The 56-year-old had recently been in the hospital because of a pancreas. According to the media reports, Neidhart is said to have been back on the training ground for the first time on Tuesday when the incident occurred. According to “Bild”, an ambulance was also in use.

In terms of sport, the OFC is in second place in the regional league Südwest two games before the end of the season. However, an ascent to the 3rd league is no longer possible – the gap to leader TSG 1899 Hoffenheim II is twelve points. Kristjan Glibo will take over the Kickers in the coming season, and a separation between the club and the Neidhart has already been decided.
